On March 16, VPOWER (HONG KONG) was invited to attend the "Racial Harmony Mini Hockey Tournament cum Crime Prevention & Safety Awareness Day 2024" co-organized by the Racial Integration Education and Welfare Association at the King's Park Hockey Ground. This event was received fully support from the Elite Sports Club, and seven teams from the Shenzhen Hockey Association were specially invited to create a sports feast together.


The tournament was divided into four age groups: U6, U8, U10 and U12. There were more than 30 participating teams, and more than a hundred young players showed their talents on the ground. In addition to this exciting competition, the tournament also incorporates crime prevention and safety awareness elements.


The Security Bureau and the Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit conducted safety knowledge lectures for participating players and parents, set up a variety of interactive games and safety drills on site to enhance the safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of young people. The Fire Services Department's first aid skill demonstration and uniform of fire stream fitting also brought a new experience to the participants.


It is worth mentioning that this event issued blockchain certificates to participating players for the first time, integrating technology and sports innovation, leaving a unique memorial for the young players. Mr. Pang, Senior Consultant of VPOWER (HONG KONG), attended this event as an awarding guest and presented the award to the winning team.


The successful holding of this event not only demonstrates the power of sports in promoting health and happiness, but also reflects its role as an important tool for social education and integration.
