On March 16, VPOWER (HONG KONG) was invited to attend the "Racial Harmony Mini Hockey Tournament cum Crime Prevention & Safety Awareness Day 2024" co-organized by the Racial Integration Education and Welfare Association at the King's Park Hockey Ground. This event was received fully support from the Elite Sports Club, and seven teams from the Shenzhen Hockey Association were specially invited to create a sports feast together.

The tournament was divided into four age groups: U6, U8, U10 and U12. There were more than 30 participating teams, and more than a hundred young players showed their talents on the ground. In addition to this exciting competition, the tournament also incorporates crime prevention and safety awareness elements.

The Security Bureau and the Inter-departmental Counter Terrorism Unit conducted safety knowledge lectures for participating players and parents, set up a variety of interactive games and safety drills on site to enhance the safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of young people. The Fire Services Department's first aid skill demonstration and uniform of fire stream fitting also brought a new experience to the participants.

It is worth mentioning that this event issued blockchain certificates to participating players for the first time, integrating technology and sports innovation, leaving a unique memorial for the young players. Mr. Pang, Senior Consultant of VPOWER (HONG KONG), attended this event as an awarding guest and presented the award to the winning team.

The successful holding of this event not only demonstrates the power of sports in promoting health and happiness, but also reflects its role as an important tool for social education and integration. On the evening of February 23, VPOWER (HONG KONG) held an Annual Dinner to thank all employees for their hard working and outstanding contributions in Year 2023.  It aims to deepen the communication among employees, share the joy and look forward to a brighter future.

That night, Mr. Hu Ke, Chairman of VPOWER Group, Mr. Wang Wei, General Manager of VPOWER Group, and Mr. Li Xiaofeng, Managing Director of VPOWER (HONG KONG), led the Senior Management Team to celebrate this wonderful time with the guests and all employees.

The program at the dinner was rich and colorful, including traditional lion dance performances that are indispensable in our Chinese culture, and games that boosted the atmosphere of all guests and employees. Everyone shared and exchanged thoughts and experiences in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which enhanced mutual understanding and friendship. In addition, the dinner also included a commendation and awards session to praise and reward employees who had outstanding performance in the past year.

The opening ceremony of the Panyu Zuanhui Industrial Park Customs Supervision Workplace was held at the Shawan Jewelry Industrial Park Customs Building on February 21, 2024 and it was sponsored by Zuanhui Group.  This workplace provides essential logistics support for the import and export trade of the jewelry industry in Panyu, and also provides a more powerful starting point for Panyu Customs to serve the development of local characteristic industries.

On that day, Zuanhui Group invited Deng Yaoqi, member of the Standing Committee of the Panyu District Committee, Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Deputy Secretary of the District Political Consultative Conference Party Group, Chen Shengyi, Director of Panyu Customs, and Zhang Yongxing, Secretary of the Shawan Street Party Working Committee to attend the event.  They said that the opening of this place will further enhance the customs clearance efficiency of jewelry enterprises in the jurisdiction and meet the enterprises’ customs clearance needs of “faster, closer and better”.

At the event, the guests also said that after being directly supervised by the customs of the place of production, the jewelry can be sent directly to Hong Kong, which takes about one and a half hours, which is very convenient.

Mr. Li Xiaofeng, Managing Director of VPOWER (HONG KONG), was invited to attend an interview in the opening ceremony.  He said: We are honored to be the designated transportation company for the workplace. This workplace is a eflection of Panyu Customs and Panyu Government’s practical service for enterprises.  After being activated of this workplace, customs clearance and cargo inspection can be carried out directly at Panyu Shawan Customs, which greatly improves the overall transportation and inspection efficiency.  In the future, the company will further improve service quality and business level, ensure the safe and efficient transportation of jewelry, and provide our customers with more high-quality and reliable services.

As the Chinese New Year is approaching, The Company's Management and Operations Team visited our different operating locations on New Year's Eve to extend New Year's greetings and distributed New Year's gifts to colleagues who stick to their posts.  We expressed our deep appreciation and high respect for these colleagues.

On the eve of Chinese New Year, in order to spread the company's care and warmth, VPOWER (HONG KONG) teamed up with LoveXpress, a non-profit organization, to organize a unique Chinese New Year cake distribution event.  This event aimed to spread the New Year's blessings and care to the elderly in the community, letting them feel the joy of Chinese New Year and the care of the society.

On the day of the event, The Company’s Management led 12 enthusiastic colleagues to form a team of volunteers. They were divided into six teams, one team provided warm services to the neighborhood elders at Josephine’s Kitchen in Sham Shui Po, while the other five teams visited the homes of the elders who live alone to deliver the Chinese New Year cake and warm blessings to them. 

During the visits, the volunteers communicated cordially with the elderly, cared about their living conditions and health, and sent them blessings and good wishes.  This warmth care made the elderly feel love and warmth of the society, and also made them have a happy Chinese New Year.

This loving action of distributing Chinese New Year cakes not only conveyed the company's care and warmth, but also demonstrates the social responsibility and dedication of our employees.  Through this activity, we believe that we are not only let the elderly feel the joy of the festival and the care of society, but also promote the harmony and development of the community.

On 14 January 2024, the 30th Tsuen Wan Sports Festival Opening Ceremony cum Tsuen Wan Castle Peak Road Vitality Run Award Presentation Ceremony, organised by the Tsuen Wan Sports Festival Co-ordinating Committee, was successfully held at the Tsuen Wan Promenade. As one of the sponsors, VPOWER (Hong Kong) actively participated in this grand sports event.

Mr Li Xiaofeng, Managing Director of the Company, attended the ceremony in person and acted as the prize presenter. He presented trophies and medals to the 10km Men's Individual, Men's 45-49, Men's 50-54, Men's 55-59 and Men's 60 or above, who demonstrated the power and charm of sports.

On 7 January 2024, the Tsuen Wan Sports Festival - Tsuen Wan Rural Committee Elite Soccer Competition Award Presentation Ceremony was held at Sha Tsui Road Playground, Tsuen Wan. As one of the sponsors, Mr Li Xiaofeng, Managing Director of VPOWER (HK), attended the award presentation ceremony in person, and Mr Alan Chu, Consultant of the company, presented the trophies and medals to the winning Soccer teams.

The sponsorship of the Tsuen Wan Rural Committee Elite Soccer Competition aims to encourage the public to participate in sports training and promote physical and mental health through Soccer, which is a global favourite sport, and to take this as an opportunity to promote community integration and harmony.

VPOWER has always been focused on the development of financial transport services and raising industry standards, but this does not mean that we have neglected the importance of corporate social responsibility. We will continue to actively participate in various charitable causes and contribute to the prosperity and progress of the community.

On 29 November, 2023, the Customs and Excise Department organized the "ASEAN and Hong Kong, China AEO Forum". This forum is the first large-scale event organized by the Customs and Excise Department on the topic of ASEAN and Hong Kong, China AEOs since the launch of the Hong Kong Accredited Economic Operator (AEO) Scheme in 2012. In this forum, Vpower Finance Security (Hong Kong) Limited was awarded the HKAEO Silver Award.

AEO is a concept under the World Customs Organization (WCO) SAFE Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade (SAFE Framework). It represents a Customs-to-Business partnership to enhance international supply chain security and facilitate movement of legitimate goods.

Vpower (Hong Kong) has been successfully accredited as a Hong Kong Accredited Economic Operator (HKAEO) since September 2021. The Managing Director of the company, Mr. LI Xiaofeng, participated in the Forum 2023 and said in an interview that Vpower (Hong Kong)'s main business is the transportation of precious commodities such as gold, jewelry as well as cash and banknotes, and the company's cross-border transportation has become quite convenient since joining the scheme. Taking the land transportation of precious metals as an example, it takes only one short hour to cross the border from Hong Kong port to the bank vault in Shenzhen; precious metals trading has high requirements on timeliness, and the company accomplishes rapid customs clearance after joining the scheme, and has received compliments from the precious metals business customers. With the trust and entrustment of customers, Vpower Hong Kong participated in the jewelry transportation of the global event | Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong (JGW) for the first time.

JGW has always been renowned in the industry for its global influence, wide range of high-quality exhibits, and "one exhibition in two places" model. With the relaxation of epidemic prevention restrictions, this is the first time JGW has returned to Hong Kong since 2019. The exhibition brings together a total of 3,417 suppliers from 44 countries and regions, and is held in two international venues according to product categories: the Jewelry Materials Exhibition was held at AsiaWorld-Expo from September 18 to 22, 2023; and the Finished Jewelry, Packaging Supplies, tools and equipment, etc. was exhibited at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from September 20 to 24, 2023.

For this escort mission, Vpower was entrusted by customers from mainland China and overseas regions to transport exhibits. Participating in jewelry exhibition escort is an important opportunity for our company to develop business types, expand service scope, and strengthen internationalization. Therefore, all members of the business development team came to inspect the frontline work, checked the packaging of goods, tracked the order verification, participated in the collection and delivery of goods, and inspected the site safety.
